A Handmade Non-Denominational Midwinter Holiday

Sorry about the tongue-in-cheek blog title. I just couldn't resist; I swear I tried. Title aside, this is a topic that has been much on my mind of late.

Having rediscovered a love for things crafty, I am highly motivated to do this; my favorites list on Ravelry is full of things I want to make, mostly for other people. Unfortunately, it is the end of October, and I am going to be popping out another baby any day now. I may have left this until too late, but dammit, I'm going to try. As soon as I finish L's baby blanket, I'm going to start working on the holiday gifts. I've got a couple of things to make for the Holiday Exchange on one of my message boards, and then I can start working on other projects.
